2. Review anx incoming applications; Brewster Woods Application (Housing Authority)
Brewster Woods's application submitted-basically the same as before. Committee has various
concerns at this point (density, sources of funding etc.). They seem to be asking CPC to put the
money in first to help secure other funding. The Committee will review the proposal and submit
questions through Marilyn to Paul Hush. Paul will send questions to applicant (Brewster Housing
Authority)
General thoughts;
Can not justify borrowing such a sum with unknown in the financial market.
Lack of tax credits-market at this point is difficult.
Expecting to use CPC funding as up front monies.
Motion made by Elliott Carr to defer the Brewster Woods application until the August 26, 2009
meeting. The Committee's questions will be submitted in advance for discussion that evening.
Second by Roy Robinson.
