APPROVING THE TRANSFER OF FUNDS BUDGETED IN THE
TOWN COUNCIL'S FY 2011 ADOPTED OPERATING BUDGET FOR
PROJECT INTIATIVES SUBMITTED BY TOWN BOARDS AND
COMMISSIONS
WHEREAS, the Council included $10,000 in its FY 2011 Adopted Operating Budget to
fund project initiatives developed by Town boards and commissions designed to enhance their
efforts to meet their legal requirements; and
WHEREAS, the Council received project initiative proposals from the Environmental
Advisory Commission, Public Arts Commission, Thomas Balch Library Commission,
Technology and Communications Commission, and the Tree Commission totaling $15,880; and
WHEREAS, the Council has conducted a review of these project initiative proposals.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED that the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia
approves the transfer of $7,880 from its FY 2011 Adopted Operating Budget to the commissions
in amounts not to exceed those listed for each commission in the attached summary.
