COMMUNITY PRESERVATION COMMITTEE
Meeting Minutes
July 22, 2009
Chairman Paul Hush called the meeting to order at 4:30 PM.
Members present were; Jeanne Boehm, Roy Robinson, Elizabeth Taylor, Paul Ruchinskas, and Paul
Hush
Others Present: Jackie Corchesne and Laura Shufelt.
1. Approval of Minutes of July 8, 2009
Motion by Roy Robinson to approve minutes as presented
Second by Jeanne Boehm
VOTE 5-0-0
2. Discuss Latham project funding
Town Meeting approved $50,000, contract written and signed, $30,000 paid out to date. Last
$20,000 conditioned upon pre-development funding obtained. At this point they are waiting for that
approval and review. At a basic stand still. Laura Shufelt has deferred her fees until the end of the
project. Architectural fees are needed to be paid.
$30,000 has been paid, the final $20,000 is to be split between architectural and engineering costs.
This could be handled through a contract amendment.
Ruchinskas; Motion to approve amending the contact with Latham Project to allow expenditures of
the full $50,000 of CPC funds without requiring evidence of the remaining predevelopment funds.
Request contingent upon a letter of request from Housing Authority to Paul Ruchinskas.
Second by Taylor.

3. Review new Open Space applications
A. Bates Property - to be reviewed
B. Matthews Property- in process
4. Brewster Housing Authority re: Brewster Woods application
Question submitted to date have gone to Paul Hush
Will be submitted to Housing Authority
Meet on August 26tH
5. Signs for CPC approved projects
Nothing done at this time

A. New draft of Application for Project to CPC
Further revisions- final will be submitted next week
B. Housing Plan- final version
August 12, 2009 CANCELLED (unless and application comes in)
Next Meeting: August 26, 2009- Brewster Woods questions
