RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -044 ADOPTED April 12, 2011
A RESOLUTION: MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO THE UTILITY RATE ADVISORY
COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, participation by public- spirited citizens on town boards, commissions and
committees is vital to the success of town government and the democratic process; and
WHEREAS, boards, commissions and committees serve an indispensable role in providing
recommendations concerning town policy and programs; and
WHEREAS, Council desires to appoint effective individuals to serve at its will and pleasure on
these advisory boards; and
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Utility Rate Advisory Committee for an in -town service
customer; and
WHEREAS, a vacancy exists on the Utility Rate Advisory Commission for an out -of -town
service customer.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows
1. Council hereby appoints C. Terry Titus to a term ending on June 30, 2012.
2. Council hereby appoints Melanie Fondaco to a term ending on April 12, 2013.
