No Trash & Recycling Collection in Leesburg on Thanksgiving
Day
Collections will be shifted by one day.
Leesburg, VA (November 19, 2018) – There will be no trash or recycling collection in the Town
of Leesburg on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 22, 2018.
Due to the holiday, all collections will be shifted by one day. The revised schedule for trash and
recycling collection is as follows:
• Thursday, November 22nd – No collections
• Friday, November 23rd – Southwest plus Meadowbrook
• Saturday, November 24th - Southeast, except Meadowbrook
Commercial curbside customers will not have trash collection on Thursday, November 22nd.
Trash and recycling will be collected from commercial curbside customers on Friday, November
23rd.

please contact Patriot Disposal directly at leesburgsupport@patriotdisposalservices.com or
703-771-6677.
The Department of Public Works & Capital Projects offers automatic email notifications of
changes to trash and recycling collection schedules. Residents can sign up to receive these
notifications at www.leesburgva.gov/trash.
The Leesburg Town Offices will be closed on Thursday, November 22, and Friday, November 23,
2018, in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday.
