RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -092
A RESOLUTION: FY2012 ANNUAL PROGRAM FOR STREET MILLING, RESURFACING,
CONCRETE REPAIRS AND HANDICAP RAMP INSTALLATIONS
WHEREAS, the FY2012 budget appropriated $884,500 for street milling, resurfacing, concrete
repairs, and handicap ramp installations; and
WHEREAS, in a memorandum dated June 30, 2011, the Director of Public Works has
recommended the following streets be included in the FY2012 Annual Street Resurfacing Program:

1. Rte. 15 Bypass (Ft. Evans Rd to Rte 7 Overpass SBL)
2. Rte. 15 Bypass Exit Ramp (Rte 15 Bypass SBL to E. Market St.)
3. Edwards Ferry Rd. (Rte.15 Bypass to 1840' East)
4. Edwards Ferry Rd. (Plaza St to Heritage Way EBL)
5. Catoctin Circle (Valley View Ave to S. King St.)
6. Appletree Dr. (Plaza St. to Marshall Dr)
7. Belmont Dr. (Belmont Dr. to Cul -de -sac)
8. Rock Spring Dr. (Dry Mill Rd. Cul -de -sac)
9. Davis Ave. (S. King St. to Cul -de -sac)
10. Valley View Ave. (Davis Ave. to Cul -de -sac)
11. W. Market St. (Ayr St. to Liberty St.)
12. Evergreen Mill Rd. (Alpine Dr. to Tolbert La.)
13. Tolbert La. (Evergreen Mill Rd. to Cul -de -sac)
14. Longfellow Dr. (Catoctin Cir. to Bellview Ct.)
15. Longfellow Dr. (Catoctin Cir. to Catoctin Cir.)
16. W. Market St. (WCL to Fairview St.)
17. Tuscarora Dr. (Cul -de -sac to Cul -de -sac)
18. Old Waterford Rd. (NCL to Morven Park Rd.)
WHEREAS, if funding is available the following streets shall also be included in the FY2012
Street Resurfacing program:

THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The FY2012 Street Resurfacing Program outlined in a memorandum to the Town Council dated
June 30, 2011, in the priority listed, is approved.
PASSED this 12 day of July, 2011.
