RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -093 ADOPTED: July 12, 2011
A RESOLUTION: AWARDING A PURCHASE CONTRACT FOR THREE SINGLE AXLE
DUMP TRUCKS FOR THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT IN THE
GENERAL FUND IN THE AMOUNT OF $285,360
WHEREAS, three single axle dump trucks, equipped for snow removal, to replace existing
vehicles used by the Public Works Department are budgeted to be replaced in Fiscal Year 2012; and
WHEREAS, the Procurement Office has determined that Arlington County Single Axle
Bid 360 -10, a competitively bid contract with K. Neal International Truck, Inc., can be used to purchase
three single axle snow removal dump trucks for the Public Works Department; and
WHEREAS, the Public Works Department agrees that the single axle snow removal dump trucks
offered by K. Neal International Truck, Inc. meet their needs and specifications.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
That the Town Manager is hereby authorized to execute a contract with K. Neal International,
Inc. in a form approved by the Town Attorney for the purchase of three single axle snow removal dump
trucks by the General Fund in the amount of $285,360.
