kRESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR
REZONING OF WALKER TRACTS FOR THE C-213 PORTION TO BE REALIGNED WITH
HIGHWAY 6 AND THE MIDDLE 85 LOTS FROM R -1A TO R -1C
Whereas, The City has received a request to rezone portions of the Walker Tracts for
the C -2b Portion to be realigned with Highway 6 and the Middle 85 lots from R -1A to R-
1 C, and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that the rezoning is necessary
to build the desired development posed by Saylor Developers;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the
public hearing date for March 27, 2013 for the rezoning of the Walker Tracts property.
On the, 13th day of March, 2013, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Ryan introduced Resolution No. 2013-039, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE
FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR REZONING OF WALKER TRACTS FOR THE C-213 PORTION
TO BE REALIGNED WITH HIGHWAY 6 AND THE MIDDLE 85 LOTS FROM R -1A TO R -1C
and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Upton.
Ayes: Kahler, Ryan, Bartels, Upton, Phillips
Nays: None
Absent: None
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared
that the Resolution No. 2013-039, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC
HEARING FOR REZONING OF WALKER TRACTS FOR THE C-213 PORTION TO BE
REALIGNED WITH HIGHWAY 6 AND THE MIDDLE 85 LOTS FROM R -1A TO R -1C to be
adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 13TH day of March, 2013.
