AUTHORIZING THE ISSUANCE OF A SIGN PERMIT PURSUANT
TO ZONING ORDINANCE SECTION 15.9.7. UNUSUAL SITE
CONSTRAINTS FOR WOLF FURNITURE SITUATED ON FORT
EVANS ROAD, NE ON PROPERTY IDENTIFIED BY LOUDOUN
COUNTY LAND RECORDS AS PARCEL IDENTIFICATION
NUMBER 188 -18 -6716.
WHEREAS, Wolf Furniture is constructing a 46,030 square foot showroom on Fort
Evans Road, NE on property identified by Loudoun County Land Records as Parcel
Identification Number 188 -18 -6716; and
WHEREAS, as a result of unusual site conditions, visibility of the Wolf Furniture
building is from the Bypass, but access is from Fort Evans Road NE; and
WHEREAS, Town of Leesburg Zoning Ordinance Section 15.9.2.A limits the number of
signs per business to two (2); and
WHEREAS, Wolf Furniture has been permitted two (2) wall mounted signs; one is on the
building facade facing the Bypass and the other on the facade facing Fort Evans Road NE.
WHEREAS, in this instance, the arrangement of the Wolf Furniture lot is unusual

be set well back from the Fort Evans frontage. Actually viewing the building will be difficult
until a customer is almost at the entrance from this road, which is not the case for other buildings
along Fort Evans Road; and
