RESOLUTION NO. 2011 -116 ADOPTED September 27, 2011
A RESOLUTION: TO APPOINT MR. STEVE ROBIN AND MR. ARA BAGDASARIAN
TO THE MASON ENTERPRISE CENTER LEESBURG, BOARD OF
ADVISORS
WHEREAS, the Town has been working in collaboration with George Mason University
to establish the Mason Enterprise Center Leesburg (MEC) to serve as an incubator for
entrepreneurial businesses; and
WHEREAS, the Leesburg Town Council established a Board of Advisors in July 2011
which allows for representation of the Town of Leesburg, the County of Loudoun, George
Mason University and the Loudoun County Chamber of Commerce; and
WHEREAS, advertisements were placed to recruit interested parties as potential
members of the MEC Board of Advisors; and
WHEREAS, Mr. Steve Robin and Mr. Ara Bagdasarian expressed interest and their
resumes were presented and discussed by the Leesburg Economic Development Commission;
and
WHEREAS, the Leesburg EDC supports Mr. Steve Robin and Mr. Ara Bagdasarian.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that
Mr. Robin and Mr. Bagdasarian be appointed to the MEC Board of Advisors for the term of
three (3) years beginning in October 2011.
