A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY HALL TO PUT OUT
REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR ARCHITECTS TO INTERVIEW AND HIRE
FOR CONCESSION STAND DRAWINGS, DESIGN, PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS
Whereas, The City recognizes that to move forward with development for the
Concession Stand the next step is to hire an Architect and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that an Architect will be able to
offer further details regarding building a Concession Stand and getting the necessary
information to prepare for bid letting of said project;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin; Iowa to approve
Authorizing City Hall Committee (consisting of the Mayor, Administrator and one person
form Parks/Public Works) to interview and hire an Architect regarding the Concession
Stand.
On the 13th day of March, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Kahler introduced Resolution No. 2013-043, A RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING CITY HALL TO PUT OUT REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR
ARCHITECTS"TO INTERVIEW AND HIRE FOR CONCESSION STAND DRAWINGS,
DESIGN, PLANS AND SPECIFICATIONS and made a motion for approval. Motion
seconded by Councilperson Ryan.
Ayes: Kahler, Ryan, Bartels, Upton
Nays: Phillips
Absent: none.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2013-043, A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING CITY
HALL TO PUT OUT REQUEST FOR PROPOSALS FOR ARCHITECTS TO
INTERVIEW AND HIRE'FOR CONCESSION STAND DRAWINGS, DESIGN, PLANS
AND SPECIFICATIONS to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by
affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 13th day of March, 2013.
