A RESOLUTION: APPROVING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION IN THE AMOUNT
OF $22,258 TO THE AIRPORT FUND OPVRATIONS BUDGET FOR A
VIRGINIA DEPARTMENT OF AVIATION GRANT FOR A SECURITY
GATE FOR THE NORTH END APRON
WHEREAS, electronic security gates have been installed at all entrances to the airfield
except for the north apron; and
WHEREAS, the Town contracted to install and an electronic security gate has been installed
for the north apron; and
WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Aviation approved a grant for $22,258 or 90
percent and the Airport Fund will provide $2,473 or 10 percent of the cost to install the north apron
security gate.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
FY 2012 Airport Fund operations budget is amended and a supplemental appropriation in the
amount of $22,258 is made for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2011 and ending June 30, 2012 for
a DOAV grant provided for installation of an electronic security gate for the north end apron at the
Leesburg Executive Airport.
