A RESOLUTION: APPROVING A $10,000 SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRATION TO THE
FY 2012 AIRPORT FUND OPERATIONS BUDGET FOR A VIRGINIA
DEPARTMENT OF AVIATION GRANT FOR THE 2011 LEESBURG
EXECUTIVE AIRPORT AIR SHOW
WHEREAS, the Leesburg Executive Airport held its second annual air show on October 1,
2011; and
WHEREAS, the Virginia Department of Aviation approved a grant in the amount $10,000
or 50 percent for air show advertising; and
WHEREAS, the Airport Fund provided the 50 percent match ($10,000) for the grant.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
FY 2012 Airport Fund operations budget is hereby amended and a supplemental appropriation is
made in the amount of $10,000 for the fiscal year beginning July 1 2011 and ending June 30, 2012
for a Virginia Department of Aviation grant received for advertising expenses for the second annual
Leesburg Executive Airport air show.
