A RESOLUTION: AMENDING THE COUNCIL CALENDAR TO ADD A REGULAR
SESSION MEETING PRECEDING THE FEBRUARY 27, 2012 WORK
SESSION
WHEREAS, Sections 15.2 -107, 15.2 -1427 and 58.1 -3321 of the Virginia State Code
provides for a public hearing on the Effective Tax Rate and sets out certain requirements for the
advertisement and timing of the public hearing.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as follows:
The Council Calendar is amended to add a regular session meeting immediately prior
to the regularly scheduled work session meeting on February 27, 2012 to begin at 7:30 p.m.
2. The Clerk of Council is directed to advertise a public hearing on the Effective Tax
Rate per the requirements of Sections 15.2 -107, 15.2 -1427, and 58.1 -3321 of the Code of Virginia
on February 27, 2012.
