A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING AMENDING THE
MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE FOR 9.05 FOR REAR SETBACKS
Whereas, The City has examined the current Municipal Code and there is a consensus
that the rear setback requirements need to be listed as part of Section 9.05 and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that to change or update the
Municipal Code a public hearing needs to be completed;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the
date for public hearing for 05/22/2013.
On the April 24th day of March, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin,
Iowa, Councilperson Ryan introduced Resolution No. 2013-046, A RESOLUTION
SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL ZONING
CODE FOR 9.05 FOR REAR SETBACKS and made a motion for approval. Motion
seconded by Councilperson Kahler.
Ayes: Kahler, Ryan, Bartels, Upton, Phillips
Nays: none.
Absent: none.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2013-046, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR
PUBLIC HEARING AMENDING THE MUNICIPAL ZONING CODE FOR 9.05 FOR
REAR SETBACKS to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his
signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 24th day of April, 2013.
