RESOLUTION NO. 2012-008 ADOPTED January 24, 2012
A RESOLUTION: APPROVING ADDENDUM NO.4 IN THE AMOUNT OF $211,426 TO
THE ENGINEERING SERVICES CONTRACT WITH DEWBERRY &
DAVIS LLC TO PROVIDE CONSTRUCTION PHASE SERVICES FOR
THE CONSTRUCTION OF LOWER SYCOLIN CREEK SEWAGE
CONVEYANCE SYSTEM PROJECT
WHEREAS, the Lower Sycolin Creek Sewage Conveyance System project is a funded
capital improvement project; and
WHEREAS, the scope of work in the Request for Proposals for engineering services for the
project included providing both design and construction phase services; and
WHEREAS, a contract for the said services was executed with Dewberry & Davis LLC
subsequent to authorization by Resolution #2007 -109; and
WHEREAS, Addendum No. 4 in the amount of $211,426 has been negotiated with the firm
for providing the construction phase services; and
WHEREAS, no additional funding is needed to approve this addendum; and
WHEREAS, the Acting Director of Capital Projects and the Acting Director of Utilities
recommend approval of Addendum No. 4 in the amount of $211,426 to provide construction phase
engineering services for the Lower Sycolin Creek Sewage Conveyance System project.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Town Manager is authorized to execute Addendum No. 4 with Dewberry & Davis LLC in an
amount not to exceed $211,426, paid on actual hours spent for providing the services.
