A RESOLUTION: RECOMMENDING TO THE BOARD OF SUPERVISORS OF LOUDOUN
COUNTY THAT DWIGHT STONEROOK, BE CONSIDERED THE
TOWN REPRESENTATIVE ON THE LOUDOUN COUNTY
AFFORDABLE DWELLING UNIT ADVISORY BOARD ( ADUAB).
WHEREAS, on May 29, 2009 the Town of Leesburg entered into an agreement with the
County of Loudoun regarding acceptance and administration of the Affordable Dwelling Units in
the Town of Leesburg; and
WHEREAS, per the agreement the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors shall consider
appointment to the ADUAB of a resident of the Town, recommended by the Town Council, who
meets any of the qualifying criteria for membership on the ADUAB set forth in Section 1450.10 of
the Codified Ordinances of Loudoun County; and
WHERAS, the consideration of an additional member on the ADUAB for purposes of
specific Town representation would trigger an Ordinance change in Loudoun County to change the
number of appointed members to the Board; and
WHEREAS, Dwight Stonerook is currently a long standing member of the ADUAB, is a
long time resident of the Town of Leesburg, and is an architect meeting the qualifying criteria for
membership
THEREFORE, RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that
Dwight Stonerook be recommended to the Loudoun County Board of Supervisors to represent the
Town as a current sitting member of the Affordable Dwelling Unit Advisory Board.
