JANUARY 20, 1989
CALL TO ORDER:
Trustee Mary Clemmer called the meeting to order *:00 a.m.
Present: Mrs. Kerr, Mrs Clemmer, Mrs. Seydel, Mr. Scoles
and Mrs. Cantrell.
OLD BUSINESS
CIRCULATION:
Circulation down 6 books per day (bad weather was attributed)
RECORDS:
A special Christmas record display was made available during the
holidays. February and March will see a marching band record
display.
VIDEOS:
The John D. and Catherine T. MacArthur Foundation Library Video
Classics Project has granted to this library "set B' of PBS
videos. This will be a total of 83 cassettes from 10 different
series, or over 100 hours of video . Such titles as, The Story
of English, Nova, Jewel in the Crown, and American Playhouse,
will be made available to our patrons in the near future.
NEW NEWS
CALENDARS:
The Washington Federal savings and Loan Association has given the
library several calendars to distribute to patrons. These calendars
contain photos loaned to the band by McCall Public Library, one
used for May '89.
VACATION:
Gloria will be gone February 13-21.
DISPLAY:
A special Winter Carnival display will be set up by Ann Eberle showing
McCall residents that have been involved in the Olympics over the past
years.
MOVIES:
Snowball Express will be shown Friday 27th to kick off this years
torch light parade.
CENTENNIAL CALENDAR:
McCall Public LIbrary will be one of many information centers
for upcoming centennial activities. A calendar of planned Idaho
Centennial activities will be made available, as well as
local events.
