CALL TO ORDER
Trustee Emily Newcomer called the meeting to order,

Present were Mrs. Kerr, Mrs. Clemmer, Mrs. Newcomer
and Mrs. Cantrell.
OLD BUSINESS
Budget: A cost of living approval by council gave
all city employees a 2.4% raise. The Budget was cut
by approximately $2500.00. (Gloria says a workable
budget if we watch things close)
Summer Reading: Very successful with approximately
25 children completing the program. Several programs
were held with guest speakers, including Francine
Miller from Australia, the llamas from the llama ranch,
smoke jumpers, Skip Taylor, the fish hatchery. The
first week 65 children attended but with swimming
lessons and other activities we lost several children
along the way. (Thank You letter to coordinator of
summer reading program enclosed)
NEW NEWS
Carpet: Shampooed last Sunday looks great, but they
did leave a spot that needs re -done, Gloria will call
and ask them to come back and re -do.
Windows: The city replaced the broken windows in the
back of the library.
Lets Talk: This falls reading program seems to be
going well. Nov. 5th will be the last book review.
Statistical Report: The McCall Public Library will
host a Library Statistical Report Work SHop. This
work shop will include all libraries in Dist. 3
(29 in all) Gloria and Andy Ribner filpm the State
Library will present the work shop.
7:00 p.m. meeting adjourned.
