A RESOLUTION: AWARDING A CONTRACT FOR FINANCIAL AND COMPLIANCE
AUDIT SERVICES
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg is required to have accounts and records audited
annually by an independent certified public accountant in accordance with the specifications
furnished by the Auditor of Public Accounts; and
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg concluded a competitive bid process and conducted
interviews with the prospective firms.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
Town Manager is authorized and directed to implement a contract with PBGH, LLP for three
consecutive years of financial and compliance audit services for the fiscal year beginning July 1,
2012 with an option to extend said contract for up to two additional one -year terms.
