A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR SELLING 20' OF
CITY OWNED PROPERTY AT 429 DEERVIEW AVENUE
Whereas, The City recognizes that it is a requirement to hold a public hearing in order
to sell any City owned land/property and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that this step is necessary to,
properly sell the requested 20' of City owned property to have the residents meet the
necessary set -back requirements to build an accessory structure in their back yard;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
setting a date for public hearing for 04/24/13.
On the 10th day of April, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Bartels introduced Resolution No. 2013-055, A RESOLUTION
SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR SELLING 20' OF CITY OWNED
PROPERTY AT 429 DEERVIEW AVENUE and made a motion for approval. Motion
seconded by Councilperson Upton.
Ayes: Phillips, Upton, Bartels, Ryan, Kahler
Nays: none.
Absent: none.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2013-055, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR
PUBLIC HEARING FOR SELLING 20' OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY AT 429
DEERVIEW AVENUE to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing
his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 10th day of April, 2013.
