A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK TO HIRE AN
APPRAISER TO VALUE 20' OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY AT 429 DEERVIEW
Whereas, The City has received 4 request to purchase 20' of city owned land for the
address listed above in order to meet rear set back requirements for an accessory
building and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that the public hearing has
been set and it is necessary per the Code of Iowa to get appropriate compehsation for
said 20';
Now,'therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
the Administrator/Clerk to hire an appraiser to value 20' of city owned property at 429
Deerview and split the cost of the appraisal 50/50 between the City and the buyer of the
property.
On the 10th day of April, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Bartels introduced Resolution No. 2013-056, A RESOLUTION
AUTHORIZING ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK TO HIRE AN APPRAISER TO VALUE 20'
OF CITY OWNED PROPERTY AT 429 DEERVIEW and made a motion for approval.
Motion seconded by Councilperson Ryan.
Ayes: Phillips, Upton,.Bartels, Ryah
Nays: Kahler.
Absent: none.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2013-056, A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING
ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK TO HIRE AN APPRAISER TO VALUE 20' OF CITY
OWNED PROPERTY AT 429'DEERVIEW to be adopted and signified his approval,of
the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 10th day of April, 2013.
