VISITORS: Brian Stutzman, Terry McNamara, Adrian Beazer, Kirt Hibbert, Kim

The purpose of the special meeting at 5:30 was so Kirt Hibbert could explain to the
Council how the Comprehensive Plan will be laid out. Mr. Hibbert said we are on
schedule. A draft document to get to the public will be done in June. Our City
Ordinances need to support the Comprehensive Plan. Sept. and Oct. Mr. Hibbert said we
will be in Public Hearings and then adopt in Nov. or Dec. A class at BYU-Idaho will
help tabulate the survey. Over 200 surveys were turned in and Mr. Hibbert felt that was a
good response. Mr. Hibbert said he will talk with Steve Serr from the county to work out
our impact area. Some of the students at Iona Elementary School have drawn pictures
depicting their vision of what Iona should be like, and the pictures will be included in the
Comprehensive Plan book.
Brian Stutzman reported on the research he did on impact fees.
Meeting closed at 6:30 p.m.
