A RESOLUTION: FY2013 ANNUAL PROGRAM FOR STREET MILLING, RESURFACING,
CONCRETE REPAIRS AND HANDICAP RAMP INSTALLATIONS
WHEREAS, the FY2013 budget appropriated $884,500 for street milling, resurfacing, concrete
repairs, and handicap ramp installations; and
WHEREAS, in a memorandum dated June 29, 2012, and revised on July 13, 2012, the Director
of Public Works has recommended the following streets be included in the FY2013 Annual Street
Resurfacing Program:
1. Masons Lane (Evergreen Mill Rd. to 600' East of S. King St.)
2. Edwards Ferry Rd. (Catoctin Circle to Washington St)
3. S. King St. (Fairfax St. to Catoctin Circle)
4. Periwinkle Way (Clagett St. to Clagett St.)
5. Fieldstone Dr. (Battlefield Pkwy. to cul -de -sac)
6. S. King St. (South St. to Fairfax St.)
7. Clagett St. (Periwinkle Way to Periwinkle Way)
8. S. King St. (Meade Dr. to Masons Lane)
9. Georgetown Ct. ( Oakcrest Manor Dr. to cul -de -sac)
10. Battlefield Pkwy. (Kincaid Blvd. to Tavistock Dr. — WBL)
11. Forbes Ct. (Heritage Way to cul -de -sac)
12. Edwards Ferry Rd. (Prince St to Catoctin Circle)

WHEREAS, if funding is available the following streets shall also be included in the FY2013
Street Resurfacing Program:
1. Church St. (E. Market St. to Loudoun St.)
2. Sycolin Rd. (Miller Dr. to SCL)
3. Edwards Ferry Rd. (Heritage Way to Cherry Ln. — WBL)
4. Cardinal Park Dr. (Rt. 7 to cul -de -sac)
5. Chancellor St. (Country Club Dr. to cul -de -sac)
6. Emmet Ct. (Wagann St. to cul -de -sac)
7. North St. (Plaza St. to Cherry Lane)
8. Clagett St. (500 block of cul -de -sac to Periwinkle Way)
9. E. Market St. (Harrison St. to Loudoun St.)
10 Prospect Dr. (104 Belmont Dr. to 140 Belmont Dr.)
11. Harrison St. (Nansemond St. to Gateway Dr.)
12. Dry Mill Rd. (Lee Ave. to Catoctin Circle)

THEREFORE, RESOLVED by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
FY2013 Street Resurfacing Program outlined in a memorandum to the Town Council dated June 29,
2012, and revised on July 13, 2012, in the priority listed, is approved.
