PROCLAMATION
Bristol Myers Squibb Jump Enterprise Day
Whereas, Bristol Myers Squibb (BMS) is a global health company whose gene cell therapy
transforms people's lives through science, and
Whereas, BMS is cutting the ribbon on its new Jump Enterprise building. An expansion of its
Bothell campus that will increase the number of patient lives BMS can impact, and
Whereas, the creative site design of Jump Enterprise allowed for a large retention of trees along
the frontage of SR 527. The preservation of these trees is indicative of BMS' commitment to the
environment and to the City of Bothell's goals to preserve and protect wetlands and wildlife
habitat, and
Whereas, BMS' Jump Enterprise building utilized high quality external and internal materials, and
sustainability and adaptive reuse was considered and set the standard for future development,
and
Whereas, BMS is a significant company in the City of Bothell that creates jobs and contributes to
the local economy.
Now, therefore, I, Mason Thompson, Mayor of the City of Bothell, do hereby proclaim January
31, 2024 as Bristol Myers Squibb Jump Enterprise Day, and encourage all residents to join me in
recognizing Bristol Myers Squibb for their life-saving technology and commitment to our
community.
