Recycling Center to Close at Shenandoah Square
Leesburg, VA (August 27, 2019) – Beginning on Tuesday, September 3, 2019, the recycling
center, located in the Shenandoah Square parking lot (former Walmart location at 950 Edwards
Ferry Road NE), will no longer be available.
Town residents are encouraged to utilize their free, weekly, residential curbside recycling
collections in addition to other recycling centers offered in Loudoun County. They include, but
are not limited to, the following locations:
Loudoun County Landfill Recycling Center
21101 Evergreen Mills Road
Leesburg, VA 20175
Western Loudoun Recycling Center
38159 Colonial Highway
Hamilton, VA 20158
Please visit the Loudoun County website for more recycling locations. If you are a new Town
resident and your home does not have a recycling Toter, please contact the Public Works
Department at 703-771-2790 or email trash@leesburgva.gov. For more information on the
Town’s trash and recycling program, please visit the Town’s website at
www.leesburgva.gov/trash.
