RESOLUTION SUPPORTING THE SUBMITTAL OF A GRANT APPLICATION
THROUGH THE ENHANCE IOWA COMMUNITY ATTRACTION AND TOURSIM
WHEREAS, the City of Marcus, Iowa is desirous of submitting an application
to the Enhance Iowa Community Attraction and Tourism Grant for funding of the
new construction of a Marcus Community Clubhouse.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the Marcus Golf Course is
authorized to submit a grant application to Enhance Iowa Community Attraction
and Tourism Grant.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City of Marcus demonstrates its support
for the submittal of the Enhance Iowa CAT grant application for the construction
of a new Marcus Community Clubhouse. The City of Marcus will allot $100,000 of
City funds for the construction. The City further agrees to adequately maintain
the completed project for its intended public following the project completion.
This Resolution shall be effective following its adoption by the City Council.
Passed by the City Council on this 12th day of December 2022.
