condemnation, subject to council approval. The City Attorney is hereby directed to take all
necessary action to complete said transactions, as required by law.
5. In the event the necessary property rights for the Project cannot be acquired by negotiation,
the City Attorney is hereby authorized and directed to initiate condemnation proceedings,
subject to Council approval, for acquisition of any and all property rights necessary to fulfill
k the functions of the Project, as provided by law.
ON THE 24th day of April, 2013, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Upton introduced RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE ACQUISITION OF
PROPERTY INTERESTS NECESSARY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF THE WATER
TOWER AND WATER MAINS, and made a motion for approval. The motion was seconded
by Councilperson Ryan.
Ayes: Kahler, Ryan, Bartels, Upton, Phillips
Nays: None
Motion carried.
WHEREUPON, the Mayor declared that the RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE
ACQUISITION OF PROPERTY INTERESTS NECESSARY FOR CONSTRUCTION OF
THE WATER TOWER AND WATER MAINS, be adopted and signified his approval of the
same by affixing his signature hereto.
PASSED, by the Council on the 24th day of April 2013, and approved by the Mayor on the 25th
day of April 2013.
