OPPOSING RELOCATION OF POST OFFICE DRIVEWAY
WHEREAS, the Carteret Branch of the United States Post Office has proposed
moving it's driveway entrance from Romanowski Street to Cooke Avenue; and
WHEREAS, said move would severely impact on the traffic and parking pattern in
that area; and
WHEREAS, the Carteret Police Department has opposed said relocation;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the Mayor and Council of the
Borough of Carteret hereby oppose any application for change of access and direct
the Building Office and Engineering Department to communicate said objection and
to take steps necessary to prevent said relocation of the driveway.
Adopted this 21st day of March, 1996
and certified as a true copy of the
original on March 22, 1996.
