A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR
REZONING OF PRAIRIE TRAIL WEST FOR PARCEL #1 FROM C-2 TO C-10, PARCEL #2
FROM RAC TO C-10, PARCEL #3 FROM RAC TO R-2, PARCEL #4 R-2 TO C-10, PARCEL
#5 FROM R-12 TO R-2, PARCEL #6 FROM R-2 TO R-12 AND PARCEL #7 FROM C2 -R-12
Whereas, The City has received a request to rezone portions of the Prairie Trail West
and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that the rezoning is necessary
to build the desired development posed;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to set the
public hearing date for May 8, 2013 for the rezoning of the Prairie Trail West property.
On the 24th day of April, 2013, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Ryan introduced Resolution No. 2013-070, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE
FOR PUBLIC HEARING FOR REZONING OF PRAIRIE TRAIL WEST FOR PARCEL #1
FROM C-2 TO C-10, PARCEL #2 FROM R -1C TO C-10, PARCEL #3 FROM R -1C TO R-2,
PARCEL #4 R-2 TO C-10, PARCEL #5 FROM R-12 TO R-2, PARCEL #6 FROM R-2 TO R-12
AND PARCEL #7 FROM C2 -R-12 and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by
Councilperson Upton.
Ayes: Phillips, Upton, Bartels, Ryan, Kahler
Nays: None
Absent: None
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner declared
that the Resolution No. 2013-070, A RESOLUTION SETTING A DATE FOR PUBLIC
HEARING FOR REZONING OF PRAIRIE TRAIL WEST FOR PARCEL #1 FROM C-2 TO C-
10, PARCEL #2 FROM R -1C TO C-10, PARCEL #3 FROM R -1C TO R-2, PARCEL #4 R-2 TO
C-10, PARCEL #5 FROM R-12 TO R-2, PARCEL #6 FROM R-2 TO R-12 AND PARCEL #7
FROM C2 -R-12 to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature
thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 24th day of April, 2013.
