Leesburg Parks and Recreation Department Hosts Patriotic
Decorating Contest
Town residents are invited to submit a photo of their home no later than June
25, 2020.
Leesburg, VA (June 10, 2020) – The Leesburg Parks and Recreation Department is hosting, “The
Decoration of Independence”, a Fourth of July house decorating contest for those living within
the corporate limits of the Town of Leesburg.
Residents are encouraged to decorate their place of residence and enter the contest no later
than Thursday, June 25, 2020. Decorations must be visible from street, sidewalk, or parking lot.

Judging will take place between June 26 and July 1. Judges will choose a 1st, 2nd and 3rd place
winner. Winners will be announced on July 2, 2020 and will receive a Wegmans gift card and
yard sign.
