RESOLUTION NO.2013 -006 ADOPTED January 8, 2013
A RESOLUTION: APPROVING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION OF $6,611
RESULTING FROM THE PROCEEDS OF THE 2012 JINGLE JAM
CONCERTS
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg Department of Parks and Recreation partners with
Stilson Green for the annual Jingle Jam Concerts; and
WHEREAS, the Jingle Jam Concerts have been established as benefit concerts for local
non - profits; and
WHEREAS, the 2012 Jingle Jam Concerts had a net revenue of $6,611 that is currently
reflected as Parks and Recreation revenue, and
WHEREAS, the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation is the designated recipient of the
2012 Jingle Jam net proceeds.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. The FY 2013 Budget is hereby amended and an appropriation is made in the
amount of $6,611 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2012 and ending June 30, 2013.
$6,611.
SECTION 11. The Department of Parks and Recreation budget is amended in the amount of
