A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE SALE OF 20' OF CITY -OWNED
LAND LOCATED AT 429 DEERVIEW
Whereas, The City recognizes that the Sale of City -Owned land/property must be
approved in a public setting and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that the McKibbin's have
agreed to purchase said 20' of necessary City -owned land located behind their
residence for the length of their entire property for the just compensation amount of
$500;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
the sale of said 20' necessary to make set -back requirements for a structure at 429
Deerview and for the Mayor and City Administrator/Clerk to sign all necessary
documents and Deed as required by law.
On the 24th day of April, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Upton introduced Resolution No. 2013-071, A RESOLUTION
APPROVING THE SALE OF 20' OF CITY -OWNED LAND LOCATED AT 429
DEERVIEW and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson
Ryan.
Ayes: Phillips, Upton, Bartels, Ryan, Kahler
Nays: None.
Absent: None.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2013-071, A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE
SALE OF 20' OF CITY -OWNED LAND LOCATED AT 429 DEERVIEW to be adopted
and signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 24th day of April, 2013.
