A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING DATE TO ADD COMPENSATION
PAID PER MEETING TO BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEMEBERS
Whereas, The City recognizes that City Council and Planning & Zoning members get
paid a per meeting rate of $20 for attendance and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that the Board of Adjustment
should also receive compensation of $20 per meeting attended;
Now, therefore be it resolved by,the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
setting a public hearing date on May 8` 2013 to add compensation paid of $20 per
meeting attended to the Board of Adjustment Members.
On the 24th day of April, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Upton introduced Resolution No. 2013-072, A RESOLUTION SETTING
A PUBLIC HEARING DATE TO ADD COMPENSATION PAID PER MEETING TO
BOARD OF ADJUSTMENT MEMEBERS and made a motion for approval. Motion
seconded by Councilperson Bartels.
Ayes: Phillips, Upton, Bartels, Ryan, Kahler
Nays: none.
Absent: none.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2013-072, A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC
HEARING DATE TO ADD COMPENSATION PAID PER MEETING TO BOARD OF
ADJUSTMENT MEMEBERS to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by
affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 24th day of April, 2013.
