AT THE IONA COMMUNITY CENTER
PRESENT: Mayor Brad Andersen, Council members Scott Long, Steve Elliott, Dennis
McArthur, City Clerk Betty McKinlay, Work Supervisor Zech Prouse. Council member
Clip Holverson was excused.
VISITORS: None
Iona Days was discussed. Council member Steve Elliott is chair person and said Bubba's
will cater the food and Reed's Dairy will furnish the ice cream. We will need some
people to serve. There will be entertainment throughout the evening. Mayor Andersen
said the Youth Committee will help serve or set up the tables etc. Adrian Beazer is trying
to get a car show together.
Code change on the property lot size was discussed.
Vandalism in the park and sprinkler heads being knocked off was discussed.
Playground equipment and putting in a skate board park was discussed. A grant for the
playground equipment and the continuation of the walking path on Owens was discussed
The meeting was closed at 6:30 p.m.
