A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING DATE FOR ALLOWING HUNTING
WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF TIFFIN, IOWA IN RIA AND R1 ZONINGS
Whereas, The City recognizes that hunting was previously allowed within the City limits
previously and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that due to zoning updates and
changes the former zoning was moved into other zoning options;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
setting a public hearing date on May 8, 2013 to allow for hunting within the city limits of
Tiffin, Iowa in R1A and R1 E zonings.
On the 24th day of April, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Bartels introduced Resolution No. 2013-073, A RESOLUTION
SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING DATE FOR ALLOWING HUNTING WITHIN THE CITY
LIMITS OF TIFFIN, IOWA IN R1A AND R1E ZONINGS and made a motion for
approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Upton.
Ayes: Kahler, Ryan, Bartels, Upton, Phillips
Nays: none.
Absent: none.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2013-073, A RESOLUTION SETTING A PUBLIC
HEARING DATE FOR ALLOWING HUNTING WITHIN THE CITY LIMITS OF TIFFIN,
IOWA IN R1 AND R1 ZONINGS to be adopted and signified his approval of the
same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 24th day of April, 2013.
