A RESOLUTION: APPROVING A SUPPLEMENTAL APPROPRIATION OF $2,425.83
RESULTING FROM THE COLLECTION OF A PROPERTY DAMAGE FEE
WHEREAS, the Town of Leesburg Department of Parks and Recreation rents the festival
field of Ida Lee Park for events; and
WHEREAS, a gate at an access point to the field was extensively damaged by a rental
company; and
and
WHEREAS, a damage fee of $2,425.83 was collected to replace the gate and support posts;
WHEREAS, in order to spend these funds, a supplemental budget appropriation to the Parks
and Recreation budget is needed.
THEREFORE, RESOLVED, by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia as
follows:
SECTION I. The FY 2013 Budget is hereby amended and an appropriation is made in the
amount of $2,425.83 for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2012 and ending June 30, 2013.
SECTION II. The Department of Parks and Recreation budget is amended in the amount of
$2,425.83.
