BREWSTER BOARD OF HEALTH MEETING

Present: Joanne Hughes, Chairman, James Reynolds, Keith Johnson, Andrew Petty, Nancy Ellis Ice, Health
Director and Tammi Mason, Senior Department Assistant
1. J.M. O'Reilly-continued variance request for 9 The Channel Way
JO told the Board that he had received Conservation Commission approval for this project. The only variance
being request is for the setback to the reserve area. A Cul Tech system is proposed, which is approved by the
DEP for general use. They are maintaining 5' separation to adjusted groundwater.
Motion: AP-approve variance request with the condition that if the SAS should fail it
Must be replaced in the same spot. JR seconded. 4 yes.
Dan Brightman, Vice Chairman arrived at 7:05PM
2. Bob Bersin-discuss street sweeping and catch basic ,~ in Brewster
He explained to the Board that he was looking for a letter of support for the street sweeping and catch basin
cleanings.
Motion: AP-write a letter in support of this to David Ellis. JR seconded. 5 yes.
3. Gregory Jennison-food permit application for Ocean Edge
Matthew Burek, AGM for Ocean Edge was present. There were a few questions about the septic system size.
Motion: DB-Approve permit contingent on a final inspection being done. KJ seconded
5 yes.
4. Discuss final inspection issues at 700 Satucket Road
NI explained the situation to the Board. The Board asked about the Building Dept. issuing a Certificate of
Occupancy. They decided that this should remain an open file until an inspection is done.

Motion: JR-approve minutes as written. AP seconded. 5 yes.
Documents to be signed: DB-sign agreement. JR seconded. 5 yes.
