BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows: SECTION 1. WHEREAS, the Zoning Ordinance now first permits Trailer and Truck Rentals as a permitted use in the C-4 General Business District, Article 33, Section 33.002, Sub - Section 33.002-17, Trailers, for motor vehicles, sales and rentals, not including house trailers or mobile homes. SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it is the intent and purpose hereof to amend the C-1 Neighborhood Business, Article 30, Section 30.01, to include sub -section 30.016, Trailer and Truck rentals: Trailers and trucks for rent (U-Haul), not including house trailers, mobile homes or semi- trailers and tractors. SECTION 3. WHEREAS, a study of said Ordinance was conducted by the Richmond City Plan Commission on the 25th day of June , 1974 at which time remonstrances were heard from all parties interested in or affected by this Ordinance. SECTION 4. WHEREAS, the vote of the Richmond City Plan Commission was 7 to 2 in favor of/ recommending the passage of Ordinance No. 2895-1974. NOW THEREFORE: SECTION 5. It is hereby ordained that the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Richmond, Indiana be amended to include said provisions, as set forth in Section 2 of this ordinance. SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and publication as by law required.
