HomeMy Public PortalAbout2896-1974 - Zoning - Special in C-1 - 1500 National Road WestORDIiIAPICE 110. 2896-1974 AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING A "SPECIAL USE" IN A C-1 NEIGHBORHOOD BUSI- NESS DISTRICT OF ORDINANCE NO. 2325-1968 COO[IONLY KNOIM AS THE ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, APPROVED JUNE 3, 1968. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows: SECTION 1. As provided in Article 30, Section 30.01, Sub -section 30.016, and Article 48, of Ordinance No. 2325-1968, commonly known as the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Richmond, Indiana, the fol- lowing described real estate is allowed as a Special Use for Trailer and Truck Rentals located at 1500 National Road West, in the City of Richmond, Indiana; more particularly described to -wit: Lots # 6 & 7, Earlham Heights Addition SECTION 2. As a condition of the aforesaid Special Use and as an additional restriction on said use, the following requirements shall hereafter and at all times be met by owner, leasee or any person, firm or corporation using such real estate. 1. The plans submitted shall be adopted as a part of this Ordinance and the trailers and trucks shall be parked in the areas so designated on the plans. 2. A solid 6 foot fence shall be installed north of the northernmost curb cut on South West 15th Street and along the property line running to the alley and shall extend westwardly along the south of the alley a minimum of twenty (20) feet. The fence shall be angled at the intersection of the alley and South West 15th Street to provide for adequate vision clearance. SECTION 3. The Zoning Administrator of the City of Richmond, Indi- ana, is hereby authorized and directed, upon enactment and publica- tion of this ordinance, to record and approve the issuance of a permit for the establishment of the use herein allowed. SECTION 4. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor, and publication as by law required.
