AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2325-19133 COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE ZONING ORDIN-
ANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, ADOPTED JUNE 3, 1968.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, as follows:
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, the Zoning Map which is a part of Ordinance No. 2325-1968 de-
signates and describes as R-3 One-to-Eig;it Family Residential the following des-
cribed area located on N,r th blest 5th Street between Lincoln and Randolph streets,
in the City of Richmond, Indiana, and more particularly described as follows:
Lots No. 11, 12, 13 & 14 of Levi Poacc,k's First Addition and
Lots No. 159, 160, 161, 208, 209 & 210 of Haynes Addition.
SECTION 2. WHEREP,S, it is the intent and purpose hereof to change the Zoning Clas-
sification of the above described area from R-3 to C-1.
SECTION 3. WHEREAS, a study of this Ordinance was conducted by the Richmond City
Plan Commission the day of 1974, at which time remonstran-
ces were heard from all parties interested in or affected by this Ordinance.
SECTION 4. WHEREAS, the vote of the Richmond City Plan Commission was 8 to
_,a_ in favor of/appeoftd4w ie recommending the passage of Ordinance No. 7'907-1974.
NOW THEREFORE:
SECTION 5. It is hereby ordained that the zoning classification of the above des-
cribed property be, and the same is hereby changed to C-1 Neighborhood Business
District, and that said property ba regulated in accordance with the Zoning Ordin-
ance of the City of Rich:7r„d, Irdi7.::a, and all amendments thereto.
SECTION 6. T1, s Ordinance shall Le in full force and effect from and after its
passage and publication as by law •r q-,:ircd.
SECTION 7. The origin;:l z�,n`ng cicssific-.tirn of the aforementioned area is hereby
rescinded and the zoning classification c; ",is area will be in accordance with
Section 2 of this Ordinance.
