AN ORDINANCE AMENDING ORDINANCE NO. 2325-1968 COMMONLY KNOWN AS THE
ZONING ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF RICHMOND, INDIANA, ADOPTED JUNE 3, 1968.
BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana,
as follows:
SECTION 1. WHEREAS, the Zoning Map which is a part of Ordinance No.
2325-1968 designates and describes as R-2 One -Family Residential Dis-
trict the following described property located at Flatley Road
in the City of Richmond, Indiana, more particularly described as follows:
Being a part of Fractional Section Twenty -Four (24), Township
Fourteen (14) North, Range Two (2) West in the City of Richmond,
Wayne County, Indiana and being more particularly described
as follows:
Beginning at a point in the east line of said fractional sec-
tion twenty-four (24), said point being seven hundred forty-nine
and one tenth (749.1) feet north zero (00) degrees and forty-
three (43) minutes east of the southeast corner of said frac-
tional section and running thence, from said beginning point,
north eighty-nine (89) degrees and seven (07) minutes west
two hundred (200) feet; thence north zero (00) degrees and
forty-three (43) minutes east, parallel to the east line of
said fractional section, five hundred fifty-five and thirty-
six hundredths (555.36) feet; thence east two hundred (200)
feet to the east line of said fractional section; thence
south zero (00) degrees and forty-three (43) minutes west along
said east line, five hundred fifty-five and thirty-six hundredths
(555.36) feet to the place of beginning, containing an area
of two and five tenths (2.5) acres.
SUBJECT TO: The right-of-way of Flatley Road across the en-
tire east side of the above described tract.
SECTION 2. WHEREAS, it is the intent and purpose hereof to change the
Zoning Classification of the above described area from R-2 to M-2.
SECTION 3. WHEREAS, a study of this

Richmond City Plan Commission the J121_ day of 40 ua f
1974, at which time remonstrances were heard from al parties inte-
rested in or affected by this Ordinance.
SECTION 4. WHEREAS, the vote of the Richmond City Plan Commission
was "7 to 12 in favor of/4A opperict0w to recommending the
passage of Ordinance No. 2919-1974.
NOW THEREFORE:
SECTION 5. It is hereby ordained that the zoning classification of the
above described property be, and the same is hereby changed to M-2
General Industrial District, and that said property be regulated in accor-
dance with the Zoning Ordinance of the City of Richmond, Indiana, and
all amendments thereto.
SECTION 6. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval as by law required.
SECTION 7. The original zoning classification of the aforementioned
area is hereby rescinded and the zoning classification of this area
will be in accordance with Section 2 of this Ordinance.
