COUNCIL “PRE-MEETING” WORK SESSION, JUNE 19, 2017
CALL TO ORDER
The City Council “Pre-Meeting” of June 19, 2017, was convened at 5:46 P.M. by Mayor
Carrie Tergin.
ATTENDANCE
The following Council Members were present when the meeting convened:
Present: Fitzwater, Graham, Henry, Hussey, Kemna, Prather, Schreiber,
Ward, and Wiseman
Arrived after the meeting convened: Mihalevich (arrived at 5:53 P.M.)
Absent: None
A quorum was present.
DISCUSSION OF AGENDA ITEMS
Mayor Tergin asked if the Council would consider amending the agenda at adoption to
allow the Jays Baseball Team presentation to occur as the first item under
“Miscellaneous Agenda Items” as they needed to leave for a parade in their honor. No
one voiced any objections to making that amendment.
Sonny Sanders, Planning & Protective Services Director, requested to be allowed to
announce the JeffTran System-wide Assessment Survey so he could ask citizens to
please take that survey.
Bill 2017-21 (DoubleMap Contract) – Public Works Director Matt Morasch requested
that the sponsor of the bill make a motion to delay the vote on this bill to the July 3
Council meeting so that requirements could be met regarding the time frame to allow
protests to be filed.
(Councilman Mihalevich arrived at this point in the meeting, during discussion of
Resolutions)
