HomeMy Public PortalAbout2924-1974 - Transfer - Parks & Recreation - Several accountsORDI,IANCE 110. 2924-1974 q AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER WITHIN THE DEPARTMENT OF PARKS AND RECREATION BUDGET THE SUN OF SEVEN THOUSAND NINE HUNDRED AND TEN DOLLARS ($7,910) FROM PARK PAYROLL (1-12-121) "SERVICES PERSONAL" TO REPAIRS OF EQUIP- MENT (2-25-252) "SERVICES CONTRACTUAL" $500.00; TO RENTAL OF EQUIP14ENT (2-26 253) "SERVICES CONTRACTUAL" $410.00; FUEL OIL (3-31-312) "SUPPLIES" $3,000.00; TO OTHER GARAGE & MOTOR SUPPLIES (3-32-324) "SUPPLIES" $400.00; TO CHEMICALS (3-37-375) "SUPPLIES" $3,000.00; AND TO OTHER EQUIPOEINT (7-72-726) "PROPERTIES" $600.00. WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the adoption of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appropriate more money for various functions of the City Government than was appropriated to the annual budget. SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Rich- mond, Indiana, that for the expenses of the City Government and its institutions for the year ending December 31, 1974, the following amount of money is hereby appropriated and set apart out of the fund named and for the purpose specified. Said sum being subject to all laws governing the same. Such amount shall be held to include all expenditures to be made during the year unless expressly stipw ated by law. SECTION 2. That for the fiscal period there is hereby appropriated the following specified amount to meet the extraordinary emergency that exists: AMOUNT REQUESTED REPAIRS OF EQUIPMENT (2-25-252) "SERVICES CONTRACTUAL" $ 500.00 RENTAL OF EQUIPMENT (2-26-263) "SERVICES CONTRACTUAL" 410.00 FUEL OIL (3-31-312) "SUPPLIES" 3,000.00 OTHER GARAGE & MOTOR SUPPLIES (3-32-324) "SUPPLIES" 400.00 CHEICALS (3-31-375) "SUPPLIES" 3,000.00 OTHER EQUIP11ENT (7-72-726) "PROPERTIES" 600.00 SECTION 3. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropria- tions now have unobligated balances which will not be used for purpose which appropriated. IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond, Indiana, that such unnecessary existing appropriations be now reduced in amount as follows: REQUESTED REDUCTION PARK PAYROLL (1-12-121) "SERVICES PERSONAL" $ 7,910.00 SECTION 4. An extraordinary emergency exists for the above appro- priations. SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of the State of Indiana governing emergency appropriations.
