A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTION
FOR MEDICAL COVERAGE
Whereas, The City recognizes that the medical coverage increases were not conducive
to the Cities financial plans and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that upon further discussion
and review the rate of increase will be altered;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City. Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to approve
the Family -only medical coverage to increase on July 1, 2014 to $150/month, then on
July 1, 2015 to $200/month, then on July 1, 2016 to $250/month and finally on July 1,
2017 to $300/month.
On the 24th day of April, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Kahler introduced Resolution No. 2013-083, A RESOLUTION
AMENDING THE EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTION FOR MEDICAL COVERAGE and
made a motion for approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Upton.
Ayes: Kahler, Ryan, Bartels, Upton, Phillips
Nays: none.
Absent: none.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2013-083, A RESOLUTION AMENDING THE
EMPLOYEE CONTRIBUTION FOR MEDICAL COVERAGE to be adopted and
signified his approval of the same by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 24th day of April, 2013.
