AN ORDINANCE TO TRANSFER HITHIN THE DEPARTHEl'1T OF PARKS AiID RECREATION
BUDGET THE SUM OF TMO THOUSAND, SIX HUNDRED AND TWENTY SIX DOLLARS
($2,626.00) FROM "SERVICES CONTRACTUAL" (2-22-221) ELECTRIC CURRENT
($364.00), FROM "SERVICES CONTRACTUAL" (2-22-224) 14ATER ($777.00),FROM
"SUPPLIES" (3-31-312)FUEL OIL ($680.00), FROM "MATERIALS" (4-41) BUILDING
MATERIALS ($267.00), FROM "CURRENT OBLIGATIONS" (6-65) TAXES ($330.00),
FROM "SERVICES CONTRACTUAL" (2-21-212) POSTAGE ($105.00), FROtl "MATERIALS-
(4-45) WATER PIPE REPLACEMENT ($103.00) TO "CURRENT CHARGES" (5-57)
HOSPTTAL INSURANCE ($2,158.00) AND TO "CURRENT CHARGES" (5-51) INSURANCE
($468.00).
WHEREAS, certain extraordinary emergencies have developed since the adop-
tion of the existing annual budget so that it is now necessary to appro-
priate more money for the various functions of the City Government than
was appropriated to the annual budget.
SECTION 1. BE IT ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond,
Indiana, that for the expenses of the City Government and its institutions
for the year ending December 31, 1974, the following amount of money is
hereby appropriated and set apart out of the fund named and for the purpose
specified. Said sum being subject to all laws governing the same. Such
amount appropriated shall be held to include all exnenditures to be made
during the year unless expressly stipulated by law.
SECTIO! 2. That for the said fiscal period there is hereby appropriated
the following specified amount to meet the extraordinary emergency that
exists:

SECTION 3. WHEREAS, it has been shown that certain existing appropriattons
now have unobligated balances which will not be used for purpose which
appropriated.
IT IS THEREFORE ORDAINED by the Common Council of the City of Richmond.
Indiana, that such unnecessary existing appropriation be now reduced in
amount as follows:

SECTION 4. An extraordinary emergency exists for the above appropriation.
SECTION 5. This Ordinance shall be in full force and effect from and
after its passage and approval by the Mayor and is subject to the laws of
the State of Indiana, governing emergency appropriations.
