PRESENT: Mayor — Craig Rockwood, Council members — Scott Long, Dave Huntsman,
Don Holverson, and Brad Andersen, City Clerk — Betty McKinlay
VISITORS: Terry Butikofer, Chad Stanger
A work session was held at 5:30 p.m. to discuss the proposals for the water study. Terry
Butikofer from The Development Company in Rexburg explained the process of
selecting an engineering firm to complete our water study. Mayor Rockwood asked the
Council to take the engineering proposals home and rate each one and get back to him by
Friday. Council member Scott Long suggested calling some of the references on the
water proposals. Council member Brad Andersen offered to call references on the water
study proposals and report back to the council. A meeting will be set next Wed. night to
go over the ratings for the proposals and pick an engineering firm.
Mayor Rockwood gave the Council the courtesy of telling them that Zach Prouse had
been interviewed as Ross's replacement. Mr. Prouse lives in Iona and will start work in a
couple of weeks.
