A RESOLUTION AUTHORIING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK TO SIGN A
CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF A TRUCK FOR PUBLIC WORKS
Whereas, The City'recognizes that the truck is a FY2014 budgeted expense and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin will order a 2013 Ford truck from Lynch
Ford in -the amount of $43,230;
Now, therefore be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to sign the
necessary documents to approve this purchase with a delivery date after July 1, 2013.
'On the 22"d day of May, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Ryan introduced Resolution No. 2013-088, A RESOLUTION
AUTHORIING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK TO SIGN A CONTRACT FOR
THE PURCHASE OF A TRUCK FOR PUBLIC WORKS and made a motion for
approval. Motion seconded by Councilperson Kahler.

Ayes: Phillips, Upton, Bartels, Ryan, Kahler
Nays: none.
Absent: none.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2013-088, A RESOLUTION AUTHORIING THE
CITY ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK TO, SIGN A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF
A TRUCK FOR PUBLIC WORKS to be adopted and signified his approval of the same
by affixing his signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 22nd day of May, 2013.
