RESOLUTION NO. 2014-027 ADOPTED February 25, 2014
A RESOLUTION: MAKING APPOINTMENTS TO THE DIVERSITY TASK FORCE
WHEREAS, at the December 10, 2013 Town Council meeting, Council approved Motion
2013-052 that authorized the establishment of a Task Force on Workforce Diversity within the
Town of Leesburg government; and
WHEREAS, on January 10, 2014 Council authorized advertisement to solicit interest
amongst town residents for appointment to the Task force.
THEREFORE RESOLVED,by the Council of the Town of Leesburg in Virginia that the
following residents are appointed to the Diversity Task Force:
Mayor Umstattd: Mary Randolph
MOTION 2014-011 (3/11/14)
Council Member Burk: Tammy Carter I move to amend Resolution
2014-027—by adding Hasan
Vice Mayor Butler: Ibrahim as an appointee
Council Member Dunn: Greg Hudson
Council Member Hammier: Gladys Burke
Council Member Martinez: Linda McCray
Council Member Wright: Michelle Vocke
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the community organization/business appointments are
as follows:
NAACP: Mildred A. Daye
La Voz Loudoun: Maritza Saldana
INOVA Rod Williams
