A RESOLUTION AUTHORIING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK
TO SIGN CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF A SCANNER
Whereas, The City recognizes that the.scanner is a FY2014 budgeted expense and;
Whereas the City Council of the City of Tiffin recognizes that Advanced Systems has
the best OCR scanner package in the amount not to exceed $16,000;
Now, therefore, be it resolved by the City Council of the City of Tiffin, Iowa to sign the
necessary documents to approve this purchase with an invoice date after July 1, 2013.
On the 08th day of May, at a regular meeting of the Tiffin City Council, Tiffin, Iowa,
Councilperson Kahler introduced Resolution No. 2013-090, A RESOLUTION
AUTHORIING THE CITY ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK TO SIGN A CONTRACT FOR
THE PURCHASE OF A SCANNER and made a motion for approval. Motion seconded
by Councilperson Bartels.
Ayes: Phillips, Upton, Bartels, Ryan, Kahler
Nays: none.
Absent: none.
Whereupon five Council members were present and voted approval and Mayor Berner
declared that the Resolution No. 2013-090, A RESOLUTION AUTHORIING THE CITY
ADMINISTRATOR/CLERK TO SIGN A CONTRACT FOR THE PURCHASE OF A
SCANNER to be adopted and signified his approval of the same by affixing his
signature thereto.
Passed by the City Council on the 8th day of May, 2013.
